Summary
A freelance writer with over five years experience covering the video games industry. Started contributing listicles to WhatCulture discussing video games, movies, and history, and then began a five year career with GRV Media publishing news, reviews, features, guides, and more.
Experience
After earning A-levels, degrees, and certificates heavily focused on journalism, media, and writing, Callum began freelancing while teaching English as a second language. Contributing listicles to WhatCulture and other websites that are now defunct, he then joined GRV Media and stuck around as the head gaming writer for five years. It was an incredible learning experience that came with many rewards as well as hardships. It developed skills in news and guides publishing, and it also provided a foot into the industry with the ability to communicate with developers and publish reviews.
Now he is committed to a freelancing role so he can keep a foot in the video games industry while also pursuing other life goals and hobbies away from controllers, consoles, and keyboards.
