The car was built on a chassis with short wheelbase and was equipped with important innovations: it was fitted with a 5 speed transmission and front brakes with three self-retracting strains, which guaranteed a braking clearly superior to its competitors.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale was also boosted by a more powerful engine increased to 100 HP.
