A built-in monitor mix control is used to control the "mix" between the direct microphone signal and the output of your recording software. This feature allows for latency free monitoring. By turning the top knob counter-clockwise, you will hear more of the direct microphone signal and less of the signal coming from your DAW. Turning the knob clockwise, you will hear more signal from your computer than from the direct microphone signal. The mix control allows you to find the perfect balance between computer playback and direct signal from the microphone.The bottom knob on the microphone controls the volume of the headphones. A 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack allows you plug your headphones directly into the microphone. Not only does the microphone act as a high quality analog to digital converter, it also acts as your digital to analog converter. With a high quality sampling rate of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz, the USB-PRO provides a clean, professional, studio-quality recording capability. Compatible with both Mac and PC operating systems, the microphone works with most DAWs and recording software.
