These pouches are designed to store much of the 'admin' gear that is attached to leading Army units in the field. A pair of chunky YKK zippers opens the pouch wide open to reveal its contents. Both the rear and front of the pouch has hard inserts so you can rest a notepad firmly within and still be able to write on it.
